Intensives
Intensive Physical Therapy is a focused, high-frequency treatment approach designed to accelerate progress. Typically delivered 1-3 hours a day, multiple times per week over an average of 3 weeks, this model targets motor development, strength, coordination, and mobility through personalized, hands-on sessions. Our therapists are certified in the TheraSuit Method, DMI Level A, and NISE-Stim method, which can be utilized during our intensive therapy treatment programs.

NISE-Stim
Our therapists are certified in using the NISE-Stim method; a non-invasive spinal stimulation that uses safe, electrical current to stimulate the spinal cord, nerves, brain, and autonomic nervous system to improve communication between the body and the brain. Electrodes are placed over the spine and at targeted areas of the body to stimulate muscle movement and improve functional mobility and strength.

Wellness
At ParaFisio, we are passionate about helping our clients continue to progress beyond just their therapy sessions; we promote client education, resources, and events to help with therapy carryover and maintaining functional gains. Ask us for more information about our future calendar events for group activities, caregiver resources and educational classes to learn more.

Frequently asked questions
The intensive therapy model differs from standard therapy by using increased time and frequency to help our clients succeed where standard therapy can often lack. Backed by research, increased frequency and time helps clients to reach their goals much faster and with more significant results.
Our intensive therapy programs are tailored to each client, but standard time and frequency is typically completed 2-3 hours a day, 4-5 days a week for an average of 3 weeks. Reach out to us to find out what program works best for you or your child.
ParaFisio's mission is to help our clients receive the best outcomes possible through our treatment programs. Currently, we focus our treatments on using the intensive therapy model to help our clients succeed. If you are interested in receiving continued therapy to help you or your child maintain success after completing one of our intensive programs, please reach out to us for more options.
ParaFisio is a CMS (Center for Medicaid Services) provider, and will be accepting clients using CMS/Childrens Medical Services through Molina Health after October 1st, 2026. If you are currently receiving coverage through Children's Medical Services/Sunshine Health, please reach out to us to discuss more.
At this time, we are not accepting other insurance carriers. However, we are able to create a 'Super Bill'.
A superbill is a detailed receipt we provide after your visit that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Since we are an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly, this document allows you to request coverage for services you've already paid for, though we are unable to guarantee coverages through your provider.
